AccessHealth Spartanburg has moved to a new and larger location with plans to eventually move into a multimillion dollar Northside development project.
In June, the nonprofit that connects uninsured people with medical care moved from 358 Serpentine Drive into a temporary location at 631 N. Church St., said Carey J. Rothschild, director of AccessHealth Spartanburg.
“The move was needed because our program and number of staff has grown quickly,” Rothschild said.
She said when AccessHealth Spartanburg opened its doors in 2010, there were four full-time staff members.
Today, it has 18 full-time staff members plus one full-time Americorps VISTA member, two part-time Americorps program members and a Welvista representative on site. Read the full article here.
