More than 23,000 low income residents of Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union counties have no insurance of any kind. AccessHealth Spartanburg connects this population to primary and specialty care as well as a host of social services and other assistance. Increasing access to comprehensive, quality healthcare services is important for promoting and maintaining health, preventing and managing disease, reducing unnecessary disability and premature death, and achieving health equity for everyone in our community.
