Erika Martin, is originally from Orangeburg, SC, but has been a resident of Spartanburg, SC for over 10 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2014. For more than 12 years, Erika has worked in the healthcare industry.

Her expertise includes all areas under the medical/surgical umbrella, preoperative/postoperative care, cardiac stepdown, and orthopedics.  As an RN Care Navigator she is responsible for conducting medical needs assessments, developing care plans and interventions, and providing education to clients. She assigns clients to an appropriate medical home, reviews medical records for appropriate ED utilization and follow up and assists with coordinating specialty and ancillary services. 

When she’s not caring for the community, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and her spoiled four-legged baby Coco. Erika believes that “As a nurse we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients.
