Georgette joined AccessHealth in 2023 and became a Certified Community Health Worker soon after.   She is responsible for providing direct client care through case management, care navigation and coordination of services. Georgette conducts medical, social, and medication assessments to create individual care plans for each client and assists with referrals by making connections to other community resources. In addition, Georgette provides education to clients to prevent chronic disease. She also conducts home visits and escorts clients to medical appointments.

Georgette is a South Carolina native and has lived in Spartanburg all of her life.  She graduated from Spartanburg Community College in 2008 with an associate degree and has worked at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System for over 10 years in many capacities.  She is an empty nester, however, loves spending time with her family and friends.  She is most proud of her son Jordan, daughter Miah, and granddaughter Aaliyah. She also has two kittens, Olive and Ava, that bring her great joy and comfort.  During her free time, she watches movies, reads, and intentionally spends time and celebrates life with her family, church family, friends and book club sisters.  Georgette's goal is to continue to walk beside her community, family and friends by educating on preventative screenings, closing care gaps, connecting people with resources, and encouraging the importance of knowing your health.
