Sheila Eison has been a Community Health Worker for the Healthy Outcomes Program (HOPS) since 2015.
In her role, she is responsible for helping clients who reside in Spartanburg County achieve better health by connecting them with a primary care physician and any other needed community resources.
Prior to joining AccessHealth Spartanburg, Sheila worked as a scheduler for Spartanburg Regional Transportation, a clinical scheduler for Spartanburg Regional Home Health, and an administrative assistant for Nurse Family Partnership.
Shiela became certified as a Community Health Worker in 2019. She also holds an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Spartanburg Community College and a certification in data processing from Blanton’s Business College.
Sheila is married to her high school sweetheart, Marion Eison Jr. They have 3 daughters, Ariel, Mariana and Chelsey. Sheila and her husband enjoy watching their children, granddaughter (Jacie), and nephew (Timothy) play in various sports. Sheila also sings with her sisters and enjoys reading.
